A picture of the clock, reading 2:35, after Vasek Pospisil's win over A. Seppi on Aug 6th, 2012. The match went the distance, with Pospisil winning the 3rd-set tiebreak 8-6 in a dramatic win in front of crowds of cheering Canadian fans! What a great atmosphere for the first night of Rogers Cup main draw play!
A pic of Vasek Pospisil smiling after shaking the hands of the ref and his opponent, A. Seppi, following his 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) win during the first round of the Rogers Cup in Toronto, 2012. He played on the Stadium Court in front of cheering Canadian fans and put on a great show for us!

Love the pictures! Watched the last set of the match and Vasek really deserved to win that match! He played really well but didn’t do much on the match points that he had at 5-4. He played really well but, like Milos, needs more experience in big matches. I was really disappointed that he lost to Monaco in the Second Round as he was struggling to hold his serve, but was breaking back. He does have a good serve but sometimes doesn’t use it. Vasek has a lot of talent but I don’t think he believes in himself that much!
By the way, I LOVE the Blog!

Thanks Danielle! I agree with your comments, but I think, in the case of Milos at least, the experience against top players in big matches is starting to accumulate quite nicely thanks to some “lucky” draws. For example, we’re about to see one of those matches in the 3rd round, assuming Murray makes it past the Italian qualifier, Flavio Cipolla, in their match this morning.
Stay tuned to the blog for more pictures!
