Canadians hoping to qualify at Wimbledon
The final day of qualifying is tomorrow and there are a few Canadians still looking to earn a spot in the main singles draw for Wimbledon.
Frank Dancevic will face Marco Crugnola (ITA) in the third round of qualifying tomorrow. Dancevic advanced through the previous two rounds rather smoothly, winning both of his matches in straight sets. Vasek Pospisil won his first round match against Jorge Aguilar (CHI), but lost to Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA) on Tuesday.
There are still two Canadians remaining in the Ladies' singles qualifying draw. No. 23 seed Stephanie Dubois will take on Vitalia Diatchenko (RUS) for a place in the main draw, and Aleksandra Wozniak is up against Nina Bratchikova (RUS) in her final qualifying match. Dubois elimanated fellow Canadian Heidi el Tabakh in the second round earlier today.
Here is the schedule of play for the remaining qualifiers.
The main singles draws will be announced on Friday, and we will see who Milos Raonic and Rebecca Marino will be up against in their first round matches.

I don’t think it will be long before Wozniak moves back up into making the main draw at WTA events where she was a couple of yrs ago. She made the 2nd round at Wimbledon last year, hopefully she can get further than that this time (and not draw the world #1 in 2nd round as she did at RG).
