Raonic ousted Paul-Henri Mathieu today with a scoreline of 7-5, 6-4, 7-6 (4) in 2 hours and 10 minutes.\u00a0 The match was a fairly routine win for Milos, he did face a break point late in the first set, but took care of it quickly:<\/p>\n

You can have a look at my comments while tweeting as @MilosRaonicBlog<\/a> during the match, butin general, Raonic moved well, hit well, and served well.\u00a0 He played aggressively to create break opportunities and followed up with conversions.\u00a0 He took to the net numerous times, usually successfully.\u00a0 Mathieu was outmatched today.<\/p>\n

It looks increasingly like it will be James Blake waiting for Raonic in the third round, as he's currently up 2 sets to love against Granollers on Louis Armstrong Stadium.\u00a0 The 3rd round will be played on Saturday and Sunday for the Men's draw, with Milos most likely playing on Saturday.\u00a0 No timings yet, but I'll keep you posted here and on twitter at @MilosRaonicBlog<\/a>.<\/p>\n
